Walking in a winter wonderland

A low key wedding with a touch of snow.

Erin & Paul tied the knot in a very small intimate church wedding during the first Friday in February. They celebrated with a small group of family members and their adorable children. After the intimate ceremony at their family church in Union Bridge they celebrated at the most charming restaurant, Vintage located in the historic New Market Maryland.

The unexpected snow wasn’t in the forecast for the day but it really started coming down as the ceremony started. We were super excited to grab the opportunity for some quick snow shots which just created the most romantic dreamy look. Despite how cold the air was these two couldn’t be more cozy together.

Congratulations Erin & Paul!

Snow in the City

We celebrated our first snowfall for 2019 this past weekend in Baltimore City! So obviously I couldn’t miss an opportunity for a photo shoot.

Colleen from Collectively Colleen and I teamed up right before the new year. She recently started growing her blog and asked me if I wanted to partner with her. I had told her in the past if she ever wanted to collaborate to let me know so of course I jumped on the opportunity to team up as soon as she emailed me.

Colleen rocks a very simple and chic look. Her effortless style was magic in the winter wonderland of Patterson park. She rocked two cute outfits. The first a more casual look and the second outfit she braved the cold in her skirt. I told her the second outfit reminded me of someone taking a stroll in London so we had to incorporate the light posts in some of our shots. We strutted through the unclear paths, admired the frozen duck pond, danced around the light posts and she was even game to pick up handfuls of snow and throw it in the air for me (multiple times) to try to get that perfect shot. The snow was wet and clumping together not really getting that magical dusty look but it was still soo funny and gave us a good laugh.

Needless to say we had a blast and I think we nailed it! Check out my girls blog!!

Glitz & Glam NYE Style

So one of the highlights of my 2018 was getting to partner up with a beautiful blogger babe. Colleen from Collectively Colleen!

We decided to put together a styled shoot for NYE to show of two Baltimore Boutiques and two Baltimore Bloggers at one of Baltimore’s hottest apartment buildings! We rocked out 3 chic looks for NYE 2018 and brought the fire for 2019. With so many laughs, glitter bombs and gorgeous numbers to rock we really brought in the New year right. Andrew & Ashley's romantic proposal

During my Christmas break I had an email come through from Andrew. He was planning to purpose to his girlfriend Ashley and wanted to have the moment captured. Even though I promised myself I wasn’t going to work over my break how could I say no…

I mean seriously I love a good proposal and I was more then excited to share this moment with them. Andrew walked me through his plan to take Ashley to The St.Paul’s School outside of Baltimore to watch a family members basketball game. (There was no game) They first met at St. Pauls on the lower school’s playground. He told me where he was planning to pop the question and wanted it to be a complete surprise.

I arrived early that Saturday and found a nice little bush to hide in (I hid for a solid 45 min) As I hid and anticipated the couples arrival I felt my heart race as the time grew closer to the big moment. As they walked up Ashley was looking out towards the woods in full conversation but very unaware of what was happening. Andrew dropped to one knee and waited patiently for Ashley to turn around. Once she did full shock fell over her face and the moment felt like it stood still. It was so romantic and just the cutest place to choose. The place where it all began now starts the beginning of their happily ever after and I was just in compete awe to have witnessed their moment.

2018 Favorites

No doubt about it 2018 treated me right! I really stepped up my marketing game and tried to hone in on my ideal clients. I must say I have always been a skeptic about the “think it & it will be” but I believe it really does work. I set goals for myself for 2018 and for the most part I really achieved them! I went after what I wanted, put the energy out into the universe and BAM it happened.

A little recap on what happened this year:

  • Shot some amazing weddings

  • Worked with beautiful couples & met new ones too!

  • Move out of our apartment into a awesome house

  • Visited Paris

  • Shot a partial wedding in France!

  • Lost 25 lbs (in 2.5 months!) Went from a size 8 to a size 2/4!!!

  • Worked with some fabulous blogger and boutique babes

  • Became a better adult

  • Stood by my bestie’s side as she married her dream man <3

Here is just a peak at some of my favorite images from 2018. 2019 BRING IT ON!!!!!

Stone Harbor Wedding...

2018's wedding season started off with a bang. My boyfriend Nick and I were so lucky to be a part of Mary & Jesse's big day. Nick was the best man to Jesse and I got to photograph the special day.

The Taylor wedding took place in Stone Harbor, NJ in March. With frigid cold temperatures and snow only two days before, Mary & Jesse lucked out with probably the warmest day March had to offer!

The wedding was personalized for the couple. The wedding and reception took place at The American Legion in Stone Harbor right across the street from the Hobb's families beach home. Family and friends filled up the little town during the off season weekend, warming it with love and celebration. Friday night was celebrated with a welcome party hosted by the Taylor family. On the wedding day the girls got ready in the Hobbs's beach home. Mary wore a dress handmade dress by her Aunt.

The couple had the cutest first look outside on the front porch of the legion before they said "I do" in a very romantic & intimate ceremony. Guests enjoyed a live band, great food, dancing and homemade desserts.  See a few of my favorite shots below!
