Rockfield Manor Wedding- A romantic, joy-filled wedding day
Sarah & Josh tie the knot
Rain couldn’t ruin this wedding day! Sarah & Josh tied the knot this past October at the romantic Rockfield Manor.
They had already postponed their original wedding date due to covid.
They tied the knot at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air Maryland. Rockfield Manor is a beautiful, cozy historic landmarked facility that was built in 1921. Set on Rockfield Park on over 51 acres of rolling hills. The venue offers a beautiful garden area for ceremonies, a tented reception as well as a temperature-controlled patio that is great for outdoor celebrations. The venue really provides a timeless atmosphere for couples.
As the wedding day approached with rain in the forecast we started talking about a backup plan for their ceremony and wedding day plans. It had been raining all week and was looking like it was going to be a dreary day when the morning started off with a hard drizzle.
The fall season in Maryland can be so beautiful with the autumn leaves and brisk breeze. However, it also falls into hurricane season and we tend to also feel the wrath with lots of rain and wind. Unfortunately, this is just the risk you take when you plan a fall wedding.
However, the wedding gods shined down on the couple that day! About 2 hours before the ceremony was planned to start the rain had stopped and there were peeks of the sun shining through the clouds. The amazing staff quickly pivoted from the inside ceremony set up to get the garden ready for the romantic, picture-perfect outside wedding!
Everything was perfect and Sarah & Josh had the wedding of their dreams. So many friends and family laughing, dancing and just really enjoying the company and celebrating the happy couple!
A big thank you to all the vendors!
